Dr. Barsoumian commenced his training in General Surgery over twenty years ago at the SUNY at Buffalo Graduate Medical Education Consortium. He is a graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine. He simultaneously earned a Bachelor’s (B.S. Biology) and Master’s Degree (M.S. Speech and Hearing Sciences) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He graduated in the Top 1% of his class and was enshrined onto the University’s Bronze Tablet. Dr. Barsoumian has published original scientific and medical research in the fields of anatomy, microbiology, gastrointestinal surgery and cardiac surgery.
